Ekwo is open source accounting software. What a country requires — its chart of accounts, its taxes, its declarations — is a pack of files in its repository, and there is no pack for Costa Rica yet. No date is promised.

Used only to reply to you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), through our site host acting as processor, kept 24 months at most, never sold. To access, correct or erase, ask from your Ekwo Cloud account. You may complain to your data protection authority.

Contribute the pack

A country is a folder of files an accountant can read, not code. In short:

  1. 1Copy the pack that resembles Costa Rica most intopacks/cr/
  2. 2Fill it in from the law, citing each source, then build it:ekwo pack build cr
  3. 3Open a pull request with the pack and what the build wrote.

A new pack is published as community: contributed, and not yet read by an accountant. A professional can review it later, under their own name.
